PC Notes

Driver requirement + one official graphics setting change

Official PC guidance in 1.1

On PCs at the minimum spec — GTX 10-series or RTX 20-series — Bit Reactor recommends turning Environment Geometry Detail to Off (Options → Graphics). It reduces geometry processing cost and is the official route to steadier frame rates on those cards.

Minimum recommended NVIDIA and AMD drivers were bumped to the current Game-Ready releases. If you have not updated GPU drivers since launch, that is the first thing to do.

Performance & stability

  • Multiple crash and stutter fixes across PC and console.
  • A Beskar Mode save could be temporarily deleted — fixed. Beskar Mode crashes were fixed too.
  • Save corruption that could follow a sudden or forced shutdown was fixed.
  • Players who never received their pre-order or Deluxe Edition items now get them.
  • The "update global illumination and reflections" setting wrongly referenced ray tracing — corrected.
  • A rare main-menu soft-lock caused by mashing buttons during the opening cinematic was fixed.

Combat & tactics (the ones that change play)

  • Shots with a 100% hit chance could still miss — fixed. That one alone rewrites how much you can trust an "guaranteed" shot.
  • Tier 2–4 Scatterguns were firing with Tier 1 damage values, which under-powered the whole shotgun ladder.
  • Tel-Rea's Force attacks were double-counting ranged Cross Training bonuses, and were not applying critical damage bonuses. Both are corrected, so Padawan damage maths changes after 1.1.
  • The DC-17m anti-armor shot could not crit and missed grenade damage bonuses it should have received.
  • Ion Blaster critical damage was doubled in error.
  • Overwatch had several bugs: firing through walls at the attacker, triggering outside the cone, and hitting friendly units by mistake.
  • Sweeping Salvo hit enemies outside its cone.
  • Bacta Tank could be used more than once per Cycle.
  • "A Life of Labor" tier 2 could be bought repeatedly, stacking its bonus without limit.
  • Droid Dismantler granted Harmony whenever any enemy died; it now correctly requires droid kills.

Feature updates

  • You can now close the tutorial inside the Weapon Mods menu with a back option.
  • Cancelling an upgrade that takes several Cycles now correctly shows that its progress was reset.
  • Tel-Rea's hero mission no longer ends early when the survival-round counter reaches 1 — success is judged at the end of the final enemy turn.

Databank, strategy & presentation

  • Databank edits could corrupt a character, and renaming one Operator could silently rename another.
  • Secondary Specializations were not adding passive Cross Trainings to the pool at +8 relationship, and specialization-only conditions were mis-counted mid-mission.
  • Loading a save spawned an extra autosave, and the Medbay tutorial could soft-lock.
  • A long list of cinematic, dialogue and customization animation fixes (Fathom's hair, Hawks' standing arms, Kabb and clone trooper animations, Trick's forced helmet and outfit at Stillwatch).

What 1.1 means for your squad

Shot reliability is now a real planning input

100%-hit shots actually landing removes the last excuse for a plan to fall apart. If you built around damage floors rather than probabilities, nothing changes; if you were hedging with backups, you can commit harder. Our mechanics breakdown covers the Advantage economy that still decides most fights.

Two exploit-adjacent bugs are gone

Bacta Tank can no longer be used more than once per Cycle, and the \"A Life of Labor\" talent can no longer be bought repeatedly for unlimited stacking. Runs that leaned on either were relying on behaviour the developers never intended — see our Den facility guide for the intended upgrade economy.

Tel-Rea's numbers were the bug, not her tier

Her Force attacks were double-counting ranged Cross Training bonuses while never applying critical damage bonuses — an inconsistent pair of errors, fixed in 1.1. Re-check her damage expectations on the Operators page.

Watch: what 1.1 actually changed

Reading a changelog top to bottom tells you what was fixed; it does not tell you what to re-equip. This breakdown sorts the same notes by what it does to your squad.

Star Wars Zero Company - Update 1.1 Buffs & Nerfs | Four Weapons Were Doing The Wrong Damage

GamerFuzion

A change-by-change read of 1.1 grouped by what you should re-equip, rather than in the order EA published the list.

Key points from the video

  • Four weapons moved — and not all in the same direction. Scattergun tiers 2–4 now use their own damage values, so every upgrade past tier 1 finally does something (a buff). The DC-17 anti-armor shot can crit and take grenade bonuses as written (a buff). The Ion Blaster's critical damage now applies once instead of twice (a nerf).
  • Tel-Rea is the only Operator with three separate fixes: her ranged damage bonus was being applied twice (a nerf), critical damage was not being applied at all (a buff), and the damage figure the interface showed you was not the number you were dealing.
  • The Bacta Tank limit to one use per Cycle is called the patch's most impactful balance change — injury management becomes a real constraint again, so plan the Medbay around a single tank use.
  • Secondary Specializations now add their passive Cross Trainings at relationship +8 and count properly toward operation requirements, so Operators you had written off as ineligible may qualify now.
  • Beskar Mode is the mode with one save file and no manual saving — and it was the mode losing saves. Both the save deletion and its crash are fixed, alongside save corruption from forced shutdowns.
  • What is not in 1.1: no new content, no new Operators and no new missions. The feature-update list is three small quality-of-life items.

Distilled from this video's own captions and cross-checked against the official 1.1 notes. It is the creator's reading, not our own in-game testing — treat it as a checklist to verify on your save.

Patch questions players ask

When did Star Wars Zero Company get its first patch?

Title Update 1.1 released on September 9, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S — roughly two weeks after the August 27, 2026 launch. It is the first patch with full public notes from Bit Reactor.

Did patch 1.1 fix PC performance and stuttering?

It ships a batch of crash and stutter fixes, bumps the minimum recommended GPU drivers to the current Game-Ready releases, and adds one official graphics recommendation for minimum-spec NVIDIA GTX 10-series and RTX 20-series cards: set Environment Geometry Detail to Off in Options → Graphics. It is not a rebuilt renderer, so treat it as stabilisation rather than a frame-rate overhaul.

What is the biggest gameplay change in patch 1.1?

Accuracy reliability. Shots listed at 100% hit chance could still miss, and that is now fixed. Overwatch was also corrected in several places (no more firing through walls, no more hitting your own units), so defensive overwatch walls behave the way the UI always claimed.

Did patch 1.1 change any Operators?

No Operator was reworked, but two bug fixes change their numbers: Tel-Rea's Force attacks no longer double-count ranged Cross Training bonuses and now apply critical damage bonuses, and the DC-17m anti-armor shot can crit and benefit from grenade damage bonuses. Weapon-side, Tier 2–4 Scatterguns now use their own damage values instead of Tier 1's.

Is Beskar Mode fixed?

Yes — 1.1 fixes both a Beskar Mode crash and a bug that could temporarily delete a Beskar save. If you avoided the mode at launch for those reasons, the recorded blockers are gone.

Does the guide track patches automatically?

We log patches from the official EA news feed and the in-game update notices, and we only publish changes we can point at in the published notes. If a patch ships without public notes, we say so rather than guess at its contents.
