About Zero Company Guide
What this site is, how our data is verified, and who's behind it — so you always know where the information on your screen came from.
What You Should Know
What this site is
Zero Company Guide is an independent fan resource for STAR WARS Zero Company™, built by players for players. We collect the information we wish existed when the game launched — operator breakdowns, mission walkthroughs, bond mechanics, builds, achievement tracking, performance settings and review roundups — and keep it updated as the game changes.
How data is verified
Every factual claim on this site is cross-checked against public, primary sources: the official Steam store page, the EA product page, the Steam community achievements API, official patch notes, and reviewed press coverage. Where numbers come from community testing (for example handheld performance), we name the source and date the measurement so you can judge it yourself.
Who runs it
The site is maintained by a small team of strategy-game players. We have no formal affiliation with Bit Reactor, Electronic Arts, Lucasfilm or Disney. We write what we find, correct what we get wrong, and welcome corrections — accuracy is the only thing that keeps a guide worth reading.
Official relationship
STAR WARS Zero Company™ is a trademark of Lucasfilm Ltd., developed by Bit Reactor and published by Electronic Arts. We are an independent fan project: we sell nothing, claim no ownership over the game, its assets, or the STAR WARS property, and support the site's running costs with display advertising served by Adsterra (see our privacy policy for the details and for how to turn ads off). When in doubt, the authoritative sources are the official pages linked in our footer.
Who Maintains This Site
Who writes it
Zero Company Guide is written and maintained by a small, unaffiliated team of tactics players. It publishes as an organisation rather than under a single byline, and every page shows the date its content was last reviewed.
How we verify
Primary sources come first — the official store listing, EA patch notes, the Steam achievements API and the publisher guides — with named press coverage used as the second layer. Where two credible sources conflict, both versions are published with their dates, and unconfirmed material is labelled instead of smoothed over.
Contact
Corrections, questions and source tips go to hi@starwarszerocompany.blog. That address belongs to this guide, not to the game support desk.
What We Publish — and What We Do Not
- •Numbers need a source. Damage figures, drop rates, prices and patch values only appear here when an official patch note, the store page or a named outlet published them. Where nothing public exists, the field stays unquantified rather than estimated.
- •Community testing is labelled. When a figure comes from player measurement — handheld performance is the clearest case — we name the tester and the date so you can weigh the method yourself.
- •No republished articles. We do not scrape or reproduce other sites. Coverage is summarised, attributed and linked, and the analysis around it is written here.
- •No unlicensed downloads. No mod pack, asset pack, save file or installer is hosted on this site. Where mods are discussed, we link to the platform that actually hosts them.
- •Conflicts are shown, not hidden. When two credible sources disagree, both positions appear with their dates instead of us silently picking one.
How the Site Is Funded and Maintained
Independence
Nobody pays us for coverage. No publisher, developer or advertiser reviews, approves or edits a page before it goes live, and we take no sponsored posts or paid placements.
Running costs
Hosting is paid for by display advertising served through third-party ad networks, and traffic is measured with Google Analytics. Both are optional — the Cookie settings entry in the footer turns them off, at any time.
Updates
Pages carry a last-updated date reflecting when the content changed, not when the file was touched. Patch coverage is tracked in the update history so you can see what changed and when.
Found a Mistake?
Guides are only as good as their corrections. If a number, date or claim on this site is wrong or out of date, please get in touch — we fix errors quickly and credit the report. You can also browse operators, missions and the rest of the guide from the navigation above.
